Login Error (For MY/SG Server only)

Solution 1

Download this file
put it into your garenalol folder (Replace if needed).

Directory by default:
C:\Program Files (x86)\GarenaLoL\GameData\Apps\LoL\Air

Launch Internet Explorer -> tools -> internet option -> Programs Tab -> make default -> Advanced Tab -> Restore Advanced settings -> Apply

Launch LoL. If you are able to launch LoL by that time, you can change back your default browser to others.

If both methods above failed, please check the announcement section to see if there is any server-side issue going-on.


Solution 2

Using Updated Security Protocols

You may also be unable to connect through the game client if your system is configured to access the internet using SSL 2.0 or SSL 3.0 primarily. You can alleviate this by setting the Internet Options to disable SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 and enable TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2. The Internet Options settings can be accessed through Internet Explorer:

  • Open Internet Explorer.
  • Select "Internet Options."
  • Navigate to the "Advanced Tab."
  • Scroll down in the window to the security section.
  • Uncheck the boxes to disable SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0.
  • Check the boxes to enable TLS 1.0.

  • Hit Apply.
  • Restart League of Legends.

Alternatively, you can access it by clicking the Windows key and searching for "Internet Options." From there, you can continue from Step 3 and onward.


Solution 3

Reinstall the client if all failed.
